AC/DC tour rumour #629
Another one. The story is:
AC/DC will reportedly play special “secret” club gig on January 25 at Glashaus in Reinach, Switzerland. Only 400 tickets are apparently available for the concert, which is part of a short mini-tour of small venues the band is planning on undertaking at the end of the month.
At least there is a date. And the website for Glashaus does list a special event for the 25th.
One rumour is an injury to one of Angus’ knees has held the band up. The knee is ready to go so the band is getting ready to rumble once more.
All shall be revealed in just over two weeks.

The club owner was interviewed on Swiss radio DRS3 yesterday Jan. 8th about how he had pulled off a coup like this and if it was really true. He claimed he had a contract, it came about through personal connections, that only club members would be invited and tickets cost CHF 480.
Anyone got a spare ticket?

It is a bust. The official AC/DC website has confirmed there is no gig. Never mind, the next rumour is a show in New Jersey in March.

Thank your god it’s not happening, as in January, Swiss boys have snow up to their school-caps, so young Mr Young’s knees might have suffered a bit.
The thought of him in a Zimmer frame is frightening (although I suppose he would have instead, a stack of effing great Marshall frames)
In case you wonder why those evil paparazzis have not succeeded in briging us a photo of Angus in long pants,. I can tell you it’s because he rained spitballs down on the last one who tried.
