Guess which city I’m in?

Yep, Melbourne. Wandered down Flinders Lane this evening to find the laneway to hell. More like the laneway to lotsa garbage bins. The laneway itself is really not that rock’n'roll. It smells (see garbage bin reference). But there are two bars in the laneway, the Alley Bar and the Cherry Bar. I believe either or both establishments could cater for a rock’n'roll life style.

I didn’t imbibe in either. I wasn’t in the mood as travellin’ solo and missing home. But I do like Melbourne. I wandered the city going up and down a few of the laneways seeing where I would end up. Gotta thank FXH for showing me the wonders of Melbourne last year. It would take a while to see all that Melbourne has to offer.

Also I was low on cash otherwise I would have taken in some of the shows of the Melbourne Comedy Festival. I did look for some gigs but nothing appealed so I gave them not out.

Enough self pity. Sure ACDC Lane is not a major thorough fare but I’d reckon they wouldn’t mind. Nice to see a city recognising their musical history.
